Hi, I’m Shanoaleigh.
My style of photography and filmmaking is rooted in a natural, candid, and journalistic approach. I believe in documenting stories through conversation — I love to hang out with cool humans and capture their experiences exactly as they happen. I have a strong love for the messy, raw, and softness of life. As a Reiki practitioner, I will honor your energy and space while being present in your most vulnerable moments.
I live just outside of the cities with my husband, Mars, our daughter Rainbow, and beloved cat Pepperoni. The soft, small, often overlooked moments in my life with them are the ones I cherish the most.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have noticed the little moments - the way light came through our living room window and lit up shadows on our couch, my little brother’s secret smile as he ran through our grandma’s ravine. I used our family’s digital camera to take photos and videos of almost everything I could, slowly falling in love with the art of distilling beautiful, typically unseen moments through imagery.
It feels sacred and magic to me to now be invited into other people’s lives to capture these moments for them. When I am not taking photos or filming, you can find me outside, snuggling my baby boy, making soup, crocheting, or playing cards with my partner, Matthew.
