Healing Birth Services

Limited bookings per month: Our birth program is full for January - March ‘22

“Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with, and to see not only what we are truly made of, but the strength we can access in and through birth.”

- Marcie Macari

She/Her/Hers

I document life. I capture our raw beautiful moments that happen on a daily that we want to hold on to forever or look back on to heal. This is your story! And I would be honored to hold space and tell your story through my lens in your most empowered and vulnerable moment.

She/Her/Hers

I have long loved noticing and exploring the sanctity of human experiences and processes — relationships, embodiment, joy, love —and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to come alongside those who are laboring and birthing and loving and taking care of themselves and their families.

Bringing together these passions—birthwork, embodiment, relationships, & photography — brings me the uttermost joy.

We are drawn to the birth space because of all that it can offer - beauty, challenge, change, and embodiment.

Our hope is that the services we provide will act as an avenue for healing for our clients.

Our desire to serve the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities in the greater Twin Cities area has led us to offer reduced rate birth services to these communities, including birth photography and film, birth doula support, Reiki healing, and postpartum doula care.

  • Pure Love and light ✨ Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Reiki is a form of gentle energy transmission administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that unseen “life force energy” flows through and what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we awe meow capable of being happy and healthy.

  • A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a birthing person before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. They can also support the birthing person’s partner, offering knowledge, encouragement, and insight into how they might best come alongside their pregnant partner.

Having a trained doula with you during labor and birth has countless benefits, regardless of your goals or desires for your birth. Research has shown that the presence of a doula can decrease the need for pitocin, decrease the likelihood of a cesarean birth, decrease the likelihood of use of pain medication, and increase the likelihood of birthing people rating their birthing experience as positive.
